Kitchen pod hire in York
Keep your kitchen running in York while yours is renovated or repaired. We deliver a fully fitted kitchen pod and set it up on your driveway.
Delivery to York
York is about 93 miles by road from our base near Sleaford. That's outside our 30-mile free delivery area, so there's a delivery charge, worked out on distance and how long you hire for. It's included in your quote, so you'll know the full price before you book.
About 93 milesby road from our base near Sleaford
Historic streets and river floods
York's centre has narrow streets and old houses with little or no parking, so the pod usually suits homes in outer areas like Acomb, Haxby, Huntington and Copmanthorpe. Homes near the Ouse and the Foss have flooded in the past, and the pod can stay for as long as flood repairs take.
Insurance claims in York
Kitchen out of action after a leak, flood or fire? Homeowners in York can send us their insurer and claim reference number and we'll discuss the hire with their insurer. Insurers and loss adjusters can book a kitchen pod for a policyholder in York.

Kitchen pod hire in York: questions
Which areas around York do you cover?
All of them. As well as York itself, we deliver to Acomb, Haxby, Huntington, Heworth and everywhere else nearby. The table above shows roughly how far each place is from us by road.
Is delivery free to York?
No. York is about 93 miles by road from our base, outside our 30-mile free area, so there's a delivery charge, worked out on distance and how long you hire for. We'll show the exact cost in your quote.
Can the pod get into York city centre?
Usually not, as most central homes don't have a private space big enough. Homes in the outer areas and villages are normally fine. Send us a photo to check.
Can I get a temporary kitchen in York through my home insurance?
Often, yes, if your kitchen is out of action after a leak, flood or fire. Send us your insurer and claim reference number and we'll discuss the hire with your insurer. Insurers and loss adjusters can also book a pod for a policyholder in York directly.
When can the pod arrive in York?
Hire weeks run from Sunday to Saturday, so we deliver on a Sunday and collect on a Saturday. Check the availability calendar below for free weeks, then send us your dates.
