Temporary kitchens for insurance claims
Fully equipped kitchen pods for policyholders whose kitchen can't be used after an insured event, delivered across the UK and invoiced to you, not your customer.
Keep your policyholder at home
When a kitchen is out of action after an escape of water, flood or fire, a temporary kitchen pod on the driveway lets the family stay in their own home while repairs and reinstatement are carried out. It's a practical alternative to moving them into a hotel or rental, and it can be extended week by week as the claim progresses.
Why insurers and loss adjusters use us
- A full household kitchen. Gas oven and hob, sink with hot and cold water, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, so there's no eating out or trips to the launderette.
- UK-wide. England, Scotland and Wales from our base in Lincolnshire, so one supplier covers your whole caseload.
- One all-inclusive weekly rate. Delivery, installation, connection, collection and gas are included, with no deposit, agreed in a written quotation.
- Invoiced to you, in advance. The whole hire when the length is known, otherwise every 30 days, so open-ended claims stay simple.
- Free weeks online. Our availability calendar shows the next free delivery week at a glance.
- We deal with the policyholder. We check the space, access and connections with them, which saves your handlers time.
- One point of contact. A small, director-led business: you deal with the same person from quotation to collection.

Questions from insurers and loss adjusters
Can you invoice the insurer directly?
Yes. We invoice the insurer, loss adjuster or contractor who books the pod, not the policyholder. Invoices are in advance: the whole hire if the length is known, otherwise every 30 days.
Do you cover the whole of the UK?
Yes. We're based in Lincolnshire and deliver across England, Scotland and Wales, subject to availability and site access.
What does the property need?
A level space about 3 metres wide and 5 metres deep, such as a driveway, plus access for delivery and connections to the property's water, waste and power.
How long can the pod stay?
There's no maximum hire. Hire weeks run from Sunday delivery to Saturday collection, and we extend the hire for as long as the repairs take, as long as the pod is free.
Is the pod safe and insured?
Yes. It's Gas Safe checked, PAT tested and fully insured, with a carbon monoxide alarm and fire safety equipment fitted.
Is there a deposit?
No deposit for insurer-funded hires. The hire and pricing are agreed with you in a written quotation.
How quickly can you deliver?
Hire weeks start on a Sunday. The availability calendar on our homepage shows the next free week, and we confirm the delivery date in your written quotation. Call us if it's urgent.
Can the pod be used all year round?
Yes. It has heating and lighting, so it can be used in winter as well as summer.
What documents can you provide for the claim file?
A written quotation, the pod's equipment specification and our insurance documentation, plus any other supporting information you need for the claim assessment.
Can a temporary kitchen reduce alternative accommodation costs?
Often. A kitchen pod lets the family stay in their own home while the kitchen is repaired, instead of moving into a hotel or rental, and it can be extended week by week as the claim progresses.
