A new kitchen is exciting, but the weeks without one aren't. A microwave in the living room and a washing-up bowl in the bath gets old fast, and takeaways for the whole family add up quickly.
Our kitchen pod is a fully fitted kitchen on a trailer. We position it on your driveway and connect it up, so you can carry on cooking proper meals, washing up and doing the washing until your new kitchen is ready.

How it fits around your renovation
- Get your dates from your fitter. Find out when the old kitchen comes out and roughly how long the job will take.
- Book the pod. Hire weeks run from Sunday delivery to Saturday collection, so the pod is ready before the builders arrive on Monday.
- Move your food across. Stock the fridge freezer and cupboards, and you're cooking that evening.
- Extend if you need to. If the job runs over, tell us and we'll add extra weeks if the pod is free.

Why a pod rather than a makeshift kitchen?
- A real oven and hob. Cook roasts, stir-fries and pasta, not just ready meals.
- Hot and cold running water. No washing up in the bathroom.
- A dishwasher and washing machine. Your washing machine is often the first thing to go when a kitchen comes out.
- Out of the builders' way. The dust and noise stay in the house, and your cooking stays clean.
Questions
When should I book the kitchen pod?
As soon as you have a start date from your kitchen fitter. Book the pod to arrive the Sunday before your old kitchen is ripped out.
How long should I hire it for?
Ask your fitter how long the job will take, then add a week in case it runs over. 4 weeks is our most popular hire. You can extend if the pod is free.
Can I use my own pots, pans and kettle?
Yes. Bring whatever you like to cook with. There are plenty of plug sockets for small appliances.
